Makuzi fun with friends, the rest of term and life back in Malawi. Catch up Sept-Nov 2024.

When we got back to Malawi, my parents were house sitting at Mukuzi beach which was just over an hour away from us. It was so lovely to have them closer by and to be able to visit them on the weekends, David and Neline also came for the weekends and camped there. Louie turned 9! With dad hard at work and a boy eager to build his solar car - I surprised myself that I could help him! Days starting to get very hot. Sports day at Mzuzu international. Juice bar dates. Louie went on a school trip to Vwaza Marsh, Tim had a work site close by so they decided to have a father-son camp out for the night All dressed up for teachers day at school. Lou was dressed as a PE teacher and Lils dressed as the secretary. Eilidh and Morven- sweet friends. Tim made Joel a sandpit. Joels first haircut. International day at school- their Country was Eswatini. Chilled days at the lake with good friends and food... Our Christmas chickens...

Holiday in George, a weekend away with Mel and kids, quick trip to CT and a big surprise...Catch up June 2024 -August 2024

Exploring the big world and growing up too quickly! The epic sibling bath shot haha! Hanging out with special friends, every weekend we either braai together, or go to the lake, or have dinner at Makondo camp. Special times indeed. Joel playing with William in the garden.  Holiday time- the kids and I set off on holiday during the 2 month long 'summer holiday'. We had to spend a night in Joburg en route and it was all very exciting. We arrived late and ordered room service which was very novel. Packets of sugar are a big deal when you come from a place with sugar shortages haha!  We arrived in George and spent a few days with the Montagues before heading off for a long weekend with Mel, Dan and Jess Beck. It was a really special time, with plenty of entertainment for the kids. Louie was especially excited about the horses and spent all his free time around them.
